Welcome to the Waterloo Elementary School PTA Website for the 2010-2011 school year.
Our Website is a resource for parents, students, and staff members. Through the website, you can stay current on PTA activities at our school.
The PTA is an important school partner - we help provide opportunities for parents to get involved in their child's elementary school experience, we hold many family activities that allow students and families to get to know one another, and we support our school and the staff through staff appreciation activities and classroom enrichment funds.

Welcome Back Picnic
Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 16th,
and join us from 5:30-7:00 p.m. for Waterloo’s Welcome Back Picnic. This
will be a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new
ones! Come one, come all and bring your picnic blanket or chairs and
some backyard games if you’d like. Families may bring their own picnic
dinner OR
pre-order cheese pizza (provided by Bella Mia Pizzeria) and soda. Pizzas
need to be pre-ordered by returning the
Welcome Back Pizza
Order Form to school by Monday, September 13th. Your pre-ordered
pizzas will be available for pick up at the picnic. The picnic will be
held outside in back of the school; the raindate is Thursday, September
23. If you would like to volunteer to help during the picnic or if you

PTA
Innisbrook Fundraiser
The Innisbrook sale is our major fundraiser for the
year, so your participation and support is greatly needed and
appreciated. Innisbrook fundraiser packets were sent home with every
student during the first week of school. A wonderful selection of gift
wrap, gift bags, baking accessories, magazines and chocolates are
available with delivery in time for the holidays! In addition to the
prizes provided by Innisbrook, which are shown on a flyer contained in
the packet, the PTA will provide the following prizes: a gift
certificate to the Waterloo Book Fair for the top seller in every grade,
Waterloo magnets for each student in the top-selling class, and
bookmarks for all students in every class with at least 50%
participation.
The sale ends Thursday, September 23rd,
and all orders will be available for pick-up at school on Tuesday,
October 26th, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. Waterloo PTA receives 50% of all sales
and all proceeds support PTA-sponsored activities, including cultural
arts programs, classroom enrichment and family involvement activities.
Out-of-town family and friends can also support Waterloo by going to
www.innisbrook.com and using our
school code: 106269. Remember to be safe and do not go
door-to-door for orders without adult supervision. If you have any

PTA General Membership Meeting – please mark your calendars and join us for our first PTA General Membership Meeting of the year on Monday, September 27th, at 7:00 p.m. We will be voting on the PTA’s 2010-2011 budget at this meeting. The meeting will be followed by an ice cream social…so, it’s a great opportunity to learn more about the PTA, reconnect with old friends, greet new friends and enjoy a sweet treat all in one place!
